Stay informed and inspired with the Wellness Center’s two key publications! CampusWell is an interactive online magazine created specifically for college students, covering topics like mental health, fitness, nutrition, and more. You can also subscribe to the Campus Recreation newsletter for updates on programs, events, and other useful information. Both are great ways to stay connected and prioritize your wellbeing!

Programs and Services

Campus Recreation’s Athletic Training program provides care and support for all UW students. Our certified athletic trainer is available by appointment and also oversees the safety and medical needs of club sport competitions.

Learn how to recognize the signs of mental health and substance use challenges and provide effective, compassionate support with Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)—an evidence-based certification offered at no cost by the Wellness Center. Open to UW students, staff, faculty, and community members, MHFA gives you the skills to step in and help when it matters most.

Take a break and unwind in the Relax & Recharge Room, exclusively for UW students. This calming space features massage chairs and a RelaxSpace Wellness Pod—perfect for managing stress and boosting your wellbeing. Appointments are required and can be reserved by students.

Campus Recreation’s substance education program promotes safe and informed choices through education, prevention, and support. Information is also available on the University's required prevention courses.

The Wellness Ambassadors Program is a student organization supported by the Wellness Center that empowers UW students to become leaders in campus health promotion. Open to all undergraduate and graduate students, the program offers training, support, and opportunities to actively promote health and wellness across the University of Wyoming community.
