UW IS AN IEP DESIGNATED INSTITUTION
The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) has designated the University
of Wyoming as an Innovation and Economic Prosperity (IEP) institution in recognition
of the UW’s strong commitment to economic engagement. This prestigious designation
acknowledges public research universities that work with public- and private-sector
partners in their respective states and regions to support economic development. Such
development is performed through a variety of activities, including innovation and
entrepreneurship, technology transfer, talent and workforce development, and community
development.
