Camp Schedule

Saddle Up College Preparation Camp

Required attendance for all incoming domestic, first-year students

Move-In: Sunday, August 14

Camp & Required Courses: August 15 – 19

Weekend Adventure: August 20 - 21

Saddle Up will allow our first-year, full-time students to arrive one week early to campus ahead of the fall semester. That's right! You'll get to settle into the residence halls a full week early. Students will arrive on August 14 to check-in and move into the halls and partake in a college preparation camp beginning August 15, followed by a weekend of campus-wide community building activities before fall classes begin.

First-year students who have received an exemption from living in the UW residence halls will still be required to check in on campus on August 14 and participate in mealtime and courses during the full week of Saddle Up. Meals during the week of Saddle Up for these students can be found on our costs page.
