What is the cost of attending Transfer Saddle Up?
There is no cost for students attending Transfer Saddle Up! If a student would like to bring a guest, they are welcome to; however, guests will need to pay for their own meals. Please indicate any guests who will be attending accordingly when registering.
How does Transfer Saddle Up differ from Saddle Up?
Saddle Up is a required, week-long, one-credit, academic preparation camp for first-time, full-time students. Transfer students are welcome to attend the week-long Saddle Up too! However, Transfer Saddle Up, as an optional, one-day program focusing specifically on the needs of transfer students might be a better fit for you!
What's the attendance policy for Transfer Saddle Up?
Transfer Saddle Up is not required for incoming transfer students. Attendance is optional and students may select to attend all programs OR select ones that impact them most. Remember, programs similar to Transfer Saddle Up have a positive impact on college graduation rates.
When can I move in on campus?
Many transfer students choose to live in one of UW residence halls. Move-in Day for students who are not participating in the full week Saddle Up program will be announced soon.
Where can I park at Transfer Saddle Up
Normal campus parking and transit operations will be available during Transfer Saddle Up. Please note that on-street parking is extremely limited. All students are encouraged to utilize free parking and transit services. Visit the UW Transit & Parking Services website to learn more.
