Students often encounter financial barriers that hinder their academic journey. Recognizing these challenges, the DOSW offers two vital resources: the Student Emergency Relief Fund and the Student Success Fund.

By offering financial assistance during times of crisis and opportunities for professional growth, these funds empower students to overcome obstacles and flourish as compassionate and competent social work professionals.

Student Emergency Relief Fund

This fund provides support for undergraduate or graduate students during unforeseen circumstances that create an unexpected or unprepared-for economic hardship. Students applying for this fund must be currently enrolled in the BSW or MSW program within the University of Wyoming Division of Social Work.

Student Success Fund

This fund promotes the professional development of undergraduate (BSW) and graduate (MSW) students within the University of Wyoming Division of Social Work. Events that may be funded include conferences, trainings, research support, and costs associated with courses that may have a community benefit.
