Career and Technical Education Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.)

The Career and Technical Education Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) prepares students to teach career and technical subjects in grades 6–12. Designed for individuals with existing technical or career expertise, this program combines applied content knowledge with teaching methods and classroom experience.

Students progress through foundational education coursework, CTE-specific pedagogy, and hands-on fieldwork, culminating in a full semester of student teaching and eligibility for Wyoming secondary licensure in Career and Technical Education.

Additional Licensure pathways

Explore the Professional Industry Career (PIC) Permit through the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board. These permits allow skilled professionals without a bachelor's degree to teach grades 6-12 in the field in which they specialize.
