Blockchain is a secure, decentralized digital ledger that records transactions in a way that is transparent and nearly impossible to alter. By storing data across a network of computers instead of a central server, it builds trust and reduces the need for intermediaries. This technology is important because it enables secure, efficient systems in areas like cryptocurrency, supply chain management, smart contracts, digital identity and more.

The blockchain minor provides a strong foundation in blockchain fundamentals and its real-world business applications. Students gain insights into emerging technologies, innovation, data analytics and ethical decision-making, with elective options that allow them to tailor the minor to their interests in fields like business, technology or energy. This interdisciplinary approach equips students with the knowledge and skills to apply blockchain in a variety of professional settings.

"Completing the blockchain minor was a game-changer for me. It's like I was handed a key to the future of technology and finance. Now, I'm not just witnessing the blockchain revolution; I'm actively shaping it."
