UW Engineering Task Force to Meet Sept. 16 in Rock Springs

The Wyoming Governor’s Energy, Engineering, STEM Integration Task Force will meet Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the Holiday Inn in Rock Springs.

The task force, composed of industry and state leaders, guides efforts to lift the University of Wyoming’s College of Engineering and Applied Science to “Tier-1” status. The group’s co-chairs are UW engineering alumni Tom Botts, former executive vice president of global manufacturing for Royal Dutch Shell; and Greg Hill, president and chief operating officer of Hess Corp.

The meeting is scheduled to run from 8 a.m.-noon at the Holiday Inn’s Patio Room. The session is open to the public.

The task force will hold an informal dinner at the Holiday Inn with invited guests the evening before the meeting.
