UWyo MagazineThe UW Life Cycle

September 2014 | Vol. 16, No. 1

The life cycle starts when a student decides to attend the University of Wyoming. Often that decision includes speaking with alumni. “My family really supported me being a student here because they support the school,” says student Claire Dinneen, whose parents and grandparents attended UW. The affordability is always a big selling point, but it’s often the campus visit that seals the deal.

"I Like giving back because it was such a valuable time in my life and made my career what it is."

Students who visit UW are 60 percent more likely to enroll.

UW Offers 17 NCAA Division 1-A Sports teams, which draw fans from around the state and across the country. Once a student enrolls, the dedicated faculty, staff, administrators and engagement opportunities make for an amazing experience. For the past fiscal year private giving to UW reached $50.7 million.
