AAC Training

AAC training, resources, and support are widely available through vendors, online tools, and community groups. Free product training is offered by PRC-Saltillo, Tobii Dynavox, EyeOn, Ablenet, and Forbes AAC, with additional learning via YouTube and Facebook groups. The AT Tech Tip Tuesday sessions provide monthly insights into AAC, with the first session on January 14, 2025, led by Terri Wofford, MS, CCC-SLP. Assessment and implementation tools, including free and WATR-lending options, support AAC use. For training or assessment requests, contact twofford@uwyo.edu.

Implementation Tools

The following provides a list of some AAC Implementation tools. Some of the tools are free online products and others are available through WATR. Modeling the use of an AAC system is a necessity for AAC Implementation. Consider borrowing an AAC system and/or communication app from the WATR device loan program for modeling.
