What are DSPs?
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) are the paid staff who support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) to live their lives, enjoy the same opportunities and experiences as people without disabilities, and fully participate in their communities.

Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week
This training is designed to build case manager capacity and increase their knowledge and skills to develop person-centered planning, supporting the Wyoming Department of Health commitment to quality services to Wyoming families.
This free online training is for members of an individual's support network interested in learning how to support the sexual health, safety, self-determination, expression, and rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Direct Support Supervisor Leadership Course is a 6-week, hybrid course designed to develop supervisor soft skills, strengths, knowledge and competencies around supervising direct support professionals.

The Living Well in the Community (LWC) Facilitator Training teaches you how to conduct a workshop with people who want to set and work on quality of life goals.

The ICAP is an evaluation to help determine the services and supports needed by people
who receive waiver disability services through Wyoming Department of Health, Home
and Community Based Services (HCBS) Section.

WIND is conducting a research study to help streamline the quality and number of assessments needed to receive disability services. This research will evaluate the FASI Assessment and its accuracy in identifying the level of care needed by people accessing disability services.
