The Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND) is pleased to announce the Equality State Research Network (ESRN) Awards. The ESRN focuses on supporting research that improves the health and wellbeing of Wyoming residents using community-based participatory research methods (CBPR) and focuses on patient/person-centered outcomes.
In support of this emphasis, the ESRN is offering 2 funding mechanisms: 1) Partnership Development Awards, which centers around developing community collaborations to engage in research and 2) Pilot Awards for Community-based Research, which supports CBPR activities. We expect to award $30,000 to be distributed among 2 to 5 awardees.
If you have any questions, please contact us at esrn@uwyo.edu.
Applications for 2022 are now closed.
The College of Health Sciences (CHS) through the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND) received a grant from the Heywood Foundation to support up to six (6) student research awards - 3 graduate student awards of $2,000 and 3 undergraduate student awards of $1,500. Developed in partnership with CHS interdisciplinary faculty, student proposals must focus on innovations related to telehealth and rural healthcare to meet the needs of Wyoming residents.
