Kevin is from Evanston, Wyoming. He received his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Brigham Young University-Idaho in July 2014. After graduating and before starting medical school, he taught anatomy and physiology labs, and later worked for ARUP, a clinical pathology reference lab, where he did genetic testing. Kevin’s interest in medicine developed over time, especially through observing physicians work and seeing the fusion of scientific understanding and focused teaching. He is currently interested in General Surgery and Family Practice, but is keeping an open mind. When not studying Kevin loves reading, jamming on the guitar, watching movies, and spending time with family.
