The Ruckelshaus Institute is a partnership among UW faculty and students;
 a prominent advisory board composed of leaders from business, industry, environmental organizations, education and government;
and the resources and outreach activities of the University. 

The Institute's mission is to advance effective decision-making on environmental and natural resource issues through research, policy analysis, education, process support, and proactive outreach.

  • The Ruckelshaus Institute Fall 2008 Board meeting will occur Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at the Plains Hotel in Cheyenne. A registration form is available by clicking "Registration Form." The registration deadline is Oct. 20.

     

    This will be a special Board meeting to welcome new Director Indy Burke. The Board's agenda includes a review and discussion of the draft Academic Plan for the Haub School and Ruckelshaus Institute. Regular working group meetings (water, energy and open space) will also occur at the meeting.
