The Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming advances the understanding and resolution of complex environmental and natural resources challenges. We support students, stakeholders, and decision makers by giving them the skills and tools they need to build durable, inclusive solutions to our most pressing environmental and natural resource issues.

Academic Programs

We offer undergraduate and graduate programs that emphasize critical thinking, collaborative problem solving, and interdisciplinary approaches in environmental systems science, sustainability, outdoor leadership, environmental law, and more.

We can hardly believe it: 2018 marks the 25th Anniversary of the Haub School and Ruckelshaus Institute of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming! To celebrate the occasion, we hosted a public reception and panel discussion on August 23 in Laramie. Presenters included Senator Al Simpson, Governor Mike Sullivan, and Chairman John Turner. Retired Wyoming Supreme Court Chief Justice Marilyn Kite moderated the discussion. View a recording of the presentation below and watch a short video featuring past Haub School students describing their experiences in the Haub School and how their education helped prepare them for their careers.
