Teachers who have completed an accredited teacher education education program may take the courses and earn the endorsement certificate. Eligible students enrolled in Literacy Endorsement Certificate program will select one of three options: 1) K-6 level (elementary); 2) 6-12 level (secondary); or 3) K-12 level.
Students who begin the literacy certificate program and decide to pursue the Master’s of Education can apply up to 12 credits taken prior to admission to the master’s program to that program. In order to apply all credits from the Literacy Endorsement Certificate program to a master’s degree, students must apply and be accepted to a master’s program before starting their fifth course in the Literacy Endorsement. Learn more about the application process for the master's and doctoral degrees or email curriculum@uwyo.edu with any questions.
