Enrollment Management

Welcome to UW Enrollment Management

In 1999, University Plan I called for the coordination and refinement of enrollment management efforts for the University of Wyoming (UW). The initiation of the enrollment management effort was due in part, to a decline in student enrollments reflected in the fall enrollment of 1999 declining to 11,126. During the fall of 1999, the Enrollment Management Council (EMC) was formed as a policy body, comprised of leaders from throughout the university, to review the student recruiting and student success progress at UW and to initiate appropriate action where needed. Formally it was stated that EMC was established, "to mobilize the campus for the enhancement of recruitment and retention."
