Non-CMS Websites

Support for Websites Managed Outside of Omni CMS

The University of Wyoming uses two main methods to create and manage the pages within its website. These webpages can be created and managed with the Omni content management system (CMS) or as a central site (also known as a "university site" which is supported, but not managed, by UW IT.)

If you are unsure whether or not you have a Central or CMS site, you can start by contacting your Site Owners to find out more. You can explore the Website Design & Collaboration options in the UWIT Service Catalog or use one of the links below.

You will need to log in with your UWyo Single Sign On (SSO) username and password to view the following links:

Services for Non-CMS or Central Websites

The following requests are for university or central sites that are supported, but not managed, by UWIT and are not for requests related to sites within Omni CMS.

If you need assistance with a CMS site, please visit our CMS Web Support page to open up a help request ticket with the Omni Help web team!

Before creating a university site, be sure you have the knowledge and are familiar with web technologies, authoring web sites and developing sites that are accessible. UWIT or Institutional Marketing will not be held responsible for the distribution of sensitive content through an institutional website. UWIT and Institutional Marketing reserve the right to disable/delete/remove any institutional websites containing illicit content, copyrighted materials or found in any other violation.
