The Keith A. Miller Award

In support and recognition of those who are committed to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities

Is there an unsung hero or tireless advocate in your community who dedicates time and energy to improving the opportunities and experiences of people with disabilities?  If so, please consider nominating them for this award!

About the award

The Keith A. Miller Award is presented annually to a person who makes a powerful difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities in any way.  The following list is not meant to be inclusive, but may provide ideas about qualities to look for in potential nominees:

  • Dedicated volunteer work;
  • Exceptional service on committees, panels, non-profits, or agencies;
  • Key leadership in advocacy for people with disabilities;
  • Notable accomplishments impacting policy or systems at local, state or national levels;
  • Extraordinary family members and/or caregivers;
  • Visible  and strong leaders and volunteers in Wyoming
  • Any other exemplary commitment to improving services, opportunities, or experiences for people with disabilities.
