Maintaining Safety and Security for the UW Community

The University of Wyoming Police Department (UWPD) is committed to ensuring the safety and security of our community. Operating 365 days a year, we focus on maintaining peace, preventing crime and enforcing laws and regulations in a fair and impartial manner. UWPD respects the rights of all individuals and are responsive to the unique needs of our community. As the primary law enforcement agency on the UW campus, we not only fulfill traditional law enforcement responsibilities but also address the specific needs of the university. We take pride in our work and are honored to serve both the UW community and the surrounding area.
