Request a Weekday Visit

Admissions

We are currently offering 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. weekday visit reservations through Friday, December 13th the Fall 2024, with the exception of Wednesday, November 27-Friday, November 29 for Thanksgiving Break.  Tours for the spring semester will begin again on Tuesday, January 21^st.

UW's Spring Break is scheduled for March 17-21, 2025.  Campus will be quieter during this week.  We are offering 9:00 a.m. check-ins, including a campus tour and Admissions Information session.  Academic appointments will not be available.

As long as the visit session is listed on the calendar, we are offering visits for that date/check-in time. If the session is not listed, it is either full or not available. Please select a different visit date or check-in time.

We recommend requesting your visit as early as possible. Visits must be requested at least a week in advance to allow time to schedule academic appointments with your area(s) of interest, pending faculty/staff availability. We will do our best to include an academic appointment during your visit, but it is not guaranteed. If a representative is not available, students will receive contact information for the area of interest. 

Admitted High School Seniors:  we will host four New Student Day events throughout March and April where you will have the opportunity to meet other admitted students, along with the advisors from your college, hear from residence life, and complete other steps to becoming a UW student. 

 

 

Your campus visit may last about 4 hours based on your appointment selections on your visit request and faculty/staff availability.

Visit requests with less than a week’s notice will only include a campus tour and Admissions Information session, which last about 2 hours.

Nursing Student?

Students interested in the Nursing program are encouraged to register for a Nursing Visit Day on the 2nd Friday of each month (through July 2025) starting at the 12:00 p.m. check-in with a campus tour and UW Admissions information session before the Nursing session.

If you cannot make one of Nursing Visit Days, feel free to request a Campus Visit that will include a campus tour and admissions information session.  Nursing appointments are not available outside the Nursing Visit Day but we will provide a Nursing information folder at check-in, which includes a School of Nursing contact for further questions.

Student Athlete?

Please note that we are not able to arrange appointments with NCAA D-1 athletic teams. You are welcome to contact the coaches on your own in conjunction with your planned trip to campus.

 

Graduate Student?

We are happy to provide prospective graduate students a tour to get a feel of campus.  However, each Graduate Program has their own admissions requirements and application review process so they prefer to schedule visits directly with prospective students.  Please contact the department of your field of study for more information!

 

Transfer Student?

Surround yourself with fellow transfer students on a campus tour and see if UW is the right fit for you! On the 2nd Friday of each month, we offer transfer specific campus visits including an overview of the transfer application process, admissions requirements, and how credits transfer to UW.
