UW’s ceramics facilities feature wood, gas, soda, and electric kilns, dedicated plaster and photo rooms, clay and glaze labs, hand building areas and equipment, throwing stations, and senior studio spaces.
The Ceramic Art Guild is open to all students in the Program.
Every year the Ceramics Art Guild, takes students to the NCECA annual conference (National Council for Education in the Ceramic Arts).
Semi-private Studios are granted to advanced students who apply and are enrolled in at least one credit hour of upper level courses in the Art and Art History Program providing time and space to work on their creative research safely and independently.
Yes, Senior graduating students can apply for a Post-Undergraduate Assistantship (PUA) for the year following graduation.
