Printmaking

Woodcut, Intaglio, Screenprint, Lithography

The printmaking program introduces students to traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques as they cultivate an art practice grounded in the printed multiple. From colorful screenprints to fine copper etchings, printmakers create high-quality, limited editions of their own imagery as they learn about the history of printmaking processes and the modern adaptations in creative and commercial applications. Through exploration of print media, students develop creative problem-solving skills that will make them successful and marketable artists, designers, and educators.
