Photography

Darkroom, Digital, Documentary

Photography as an art discipline engages students in both technical and conceptual investigations of image-making. Photography introduces students to technical investigations of traditional, film-based black-and-white methods and digital process before moving into more advanced coursework and project-based work. Through studio-practice, students develop a strong understanding of the technical foundations of photography while examining its history and contemporary trends.
