Visual Communication Design

Digital Design, Technology, Multimedia

Visual communication design (VCD) is a discipline that bridges fine art and applied design, using visual language to communicate ideas clearly and creatively to diverse audiences. It combines conceptual thinking with professional skills across graphic design, branding, motion graphics, digital media and interactive design. Grounded in both historical and contemporary practices, VCD emphasizes visual storytelling, critical thinking and research-based making, while exploring how design shapes identity, meaning and representation in every day life.
