Traditions and Student Outreach Committee

Purpose

The Committee shall also organize First-Year Senate traditions, social events, service opportunities, retreats, and other activities intended to strengthen relationships among members and engage the first-year student body. The Committee will be responsible for managing and maintaining the First-Year Senate’s social media presence, including promoting events, initiatives, accomplishments, and other relevant information to students. The Committee may also assist with broader promotional and marketing efforts and shall work to ensure that the First-Year Senate maintains a visible, accessible, and active presence among first-year students.

Composition

A minimum of three First-Year Senators will serve as the membership for the Programming Committee.

The Programming Committee will internally select a chair.
