Student Affairs, Advocacy, and Policy Committee

Purpose

The Committee shall review University policies, proposed changes affecting students, and legislative actions from the First-Year Senate or ASUW as directed by the Steering Committee. The Committee may develop legislation, recommendations, advocacy initiatives, or other projects in response to identified student concerns and shall work with relevant University officials, ASUW committees, and campus organizations when appropriate.

Composition

A minimum of three First-Year Senators will serve as the membership for the Student Outreach and Policies Committee.

The Student Outreach and Policies Committee will internally select a chair.
