Fostering Departmental Discussions of DEI Issues

As stated in the Botany Department’s commitment to DEI, “We acknowledge this is an ongoing journey of continual growth and learning and our department is committed to progressing on this journey together.” One way the Botany DEI committee helps to promote this continual growth and learning is through a series of monthly DEI discussions: Sip and Chats. These events organized by members of the Botany DEI committee and each event focuses on a different topic related to DEI in STEM, academia, or society broadly.
