Thank you for your interest in the University of Wyoming's Chemical and Biomedical Engineering department! We encourage you to explore our Masters and Doctoral degree offerings, as well as our faculty's research interests to find the right fit for your academic and career goals.
UW's Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Department is home to 15 faculty and approximately 50 graduate students. Because of our relatively small size, we can offer you one-on-one contact to investigate a research problem, a low student-to-faculty ratio to maximize your classroom experience, and options to choose between small exploratory projects and large, well established projects, and between applied and basic disciplines.
We welcome qualified candidates to apply to our graduate programs. A M.S. degree is not required to enter a Ph.D. program. The following M.S./Ph.D. positions supported through research grants are available in our department:
Master of Science degree programs
Master of Science in Environmental Engineering
Doctor of Philosophy degree programs
Quick Start Program for current undergraduate students interested in pursuing a Master's degree
