All students admitted to the University of Wyoming's Department of Chemistry are fully funded through Graduate Teaching and Graduate Research Assistantships. By submitting your application to the department, you are simultaneously requesting funding; no additional steps are required.
$27,500 to $30,000 for the first year + a full tuition waiver + medical insurance. Department of Chemistry fellowships are limited and are reserved for outstanding candidates. Fellowship selection is made on a competitive basis. Fellowships are often awarded for a single year. In the second year, Fellows normally revert to either a teaching or research assistantship with a minimum stipend of $25,500 per year.
The distinguished graduate fellowship will be offered to outstanding Ph.D. applicants. The fellowship entails $25,000 TA annual stipend and a $8,000 augmentation. The fellowship will be distributed as $5,000 for the first academic year and $3,000 for the first summer.

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Wyoming is excited to announce two new GA positions for the fall semester of 2018. These positions are available exclusively to incoming graduate students from Under-Represented Domestic Minorities (URDMs) who are seeking for doctoral or master’s degree in Chemistry.
