I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, and I received a B.S. in mining engineering from the University of Utah. Over the course of my undergraduate career, I recognized that corporate and legal matters interested me more than engineering ones. This was solidified after I worked at a mine in the middle of the Atacama Desert in Chile for three months. I chose to attend law school after I graduated and have never regretted that decision. 

I decided to attend UW because of both the smaller class sizes and the fact that Wyoming is a hotbed for corporate and natural resources law. I chose the Business Entrepreneurship Practicum because I am interested in becoming both a business owner and an entrepreneur after I graduate. And it’s a great way to knock out three credit hours for experiential learning.
