About the UW Jazz Festival

Our goals for the UW Jazz Festival are simple: great music with outstanding and positive jazz education. These simple objectives promise to make this an enlightening and enjoyable experience for students, teachers, and audience members.

Jazz Festival highlights will include:

• Outstanding line up of guest artists and clinicians.
• Student performances in the newly renovated Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA) with easy bus drop off and pick up.
• Reasonably priced Priority Registration fee of $200 per student group (registration must be complete by February 1 to receive Priority Registration fee). Registration after February 1 is $250.
• Tickets for the evening concerts may be purchased at the Fine Arts Box Office.  All UW Jazz Festival participants (including directors) may purchase tickets at the $10.00 student price.
