Did you know that UW's student body is 45% transfer students?! You're in good company!
There are many reasons to transfer to UW:
You want to save by earning a qualifying degree at a different college first, you may have had a difficult experience at your first school (this is more common than you think), or maybe you are drawn to Laramie…
Regardless of your reasons, UW is here to help.
Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT)
The University of Wyoming maintains 2 + 2 agreements with both Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). This means that students who begin their educational journey at either institution can pursue a seamless transfer to the UW Department of Energy and Petroleum Engineering in order to complete their bachelor's degrees.
Scholarships are available to help offset the cost of this degree program. Established in 2011 by Randy and Shelly Eresman, the Eresman Family Engineering Endowment is a competitive scholarship available to undergraduate and graduate students from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) interested in transferring to the University of Wyoming in pursuit of an energy and petroleum degree.
