H.T. Person

(1967-1968)

H.T. Person was the President of the University of Wyoming from 1967-1968. He earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State College, M.S. from Iowa State University, and the C.E. Certificate from South Dakota State. Person was a member of the University of Wyoming faculty from 1929-1964, during which time he served as head of the civil engineering department and as dean of the College of Engineering until he retired in 1964.

The H.T. Person Memorial Endowment and the annual H.T. Person Homecoming Lecture were established in memory of President H.T. Person.
