The station has lab spaces, conference and meeting room spaces, a physical library, and housing available for researchers.
Ready to request a space? Use the Housing Request Form to request housing, lab space, or meeting space.
Labs
To request lab space, please fill out a Request Form.
Researchers staying at the station or working in the area are free to make lab space requests. We will reserve lab space using similar criteria to our housing system– whether the work being conducted falls under that station’s mission and based on availability. Depending on the nature of ongoing projects, researchers may be asked to share lab space with other groups.
There are five labs available for use at the station, located in Berol Lodge.
- 2 larger labs with their own sinks
- 3 small labs with access to a communal sink
We also have refrigeration and standard –20° C freezer space for samples.
Meeting Rooms and Conference Spaces
Meeting Room
Accommodates up to 30 people, with seating for approximately 20 around the central table. Large TV serves as an external monitor for presentations.
Seminar Room
Accommodates up to 80 people seated in rows, fewer people if tables are added. Tables, chairs, and speaker podium available. Projector with large screen for presentations and a microphone and speaker are also available on request.
