More than 850 different federal, state, institutional, and private programs; this aid does not have to be repaid, but may have a service commitment or require a certain level of performance; contact a financial aid adviser for additional details.

Federal Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant (TEACH)

A Federal award for students who agree to serve four academic years as a full-time teacher in a high need field at an eligible school; failure to complete the service obligation will result in the Federal TEACH Grant funds converting to a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan with interest charged from the date the grant was disbursed.

Federal Pell Grant

A grant for undergraduates who demonstrate financial need; does not have to be repaid .

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

A grant for undergraduates who demonstrate exceptional financial need; does not have to be repaid.

Federal Work-Study

A program to provide on-campus and community service jobs for students with financial need; funds must be earned by working.

Federal Direct Loan

A Federal student loan paid directly from the US Dept. of Education; this aid must be repaid to the US Dept. of Education.

Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan

A Federal student loan paid directly from the US Dept. of Education for an undergraduate student; this aid must be repaid to the US Dept. of Education by the parent who has requested the loan.

Federal Direct Grad PLUS Loan

A Federal student loan paid directly from the US Dept. of Education for a graduate or professional student; this aid must be repaid to the US Dept. of Education.
