New Transfer Student Data Report Fall 2023
- The University of Wyoming Office of Institutional Analysis produces an annual report on enrollment, performance, retention & graduation, and demographics of new Wyoming transfer students at UW.

- WyoTransfer is an incredible tool that provides the Wyoming student access to import Wyoming transcripts, see how their completed courses fulfill degree requirements at the Wyoming Community college and at the University of Wyoming, compare degree plan options, identify additional courses that can still be taken at the Wyoming Community College and send direct messages to the institution.

By completing the tedious tasks of aligning Wyoming course prefixes, numbers and titles and ultimately better transparency to the students of Wyoming, this group of cohorts has proven to truly be Wyoming’s Transfer Champions of 2024.

Upcoming Prospective University of Wyoming Transfer Student Events
- Transfer 101-Virtual event created to allow perspective students to learn more about UW, the application process, how classes transfer to UW from their sending institution, as well as hear from Scholarships, Financial Aid, Housing, Honors, Study Abroad and research opportunities.
- Transfer Campus Visit-UW offers 2 campus visits, however we have moved to add a transfer specific tour event monthly that provides an experience tailored to the transfer student population. The next Transfer Visits will be held on Friday, October 11th & Friday, November 8th.
- Transfer New Student Day Friday April 4th 2024, is scheduled for Admitted/Committed transfer students to visit campus, gain general onboarding, advising and registration support while beginning to connect with the network of support tailored to the transfer student needs.
- National Transfer Student Week falls this year on October 21-25. We’d love to hear how you are celebrating the transfer student population during this week
- Study Abroad 101 flyers have been attached to share with your outgoing student population who may be interested in Study Abroad opportunities but aren’t sure where to start.
