About the Minor in Hospitality Management
The hospitality management minor teaches students about a variety of functions in
the hospitality industry, including food and beverage, consumer relations and tourism
and lodging. This program includes 15-credit-hours, made up of three required courses
and your choice of electives.
Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at UW to pursue a minor
in hospitality management.

Dr. Sara Ghezzi leads UW’s hospitality program. Dr. Ghezzi is a certified hospitality educator and has been a valued faculty member at the University
of Wyoming since 2020.
With a decade of industry experience spanning various sectors within hospitality,
her expertise brings invaluable insights to the classroom. Dr. Ghezzi's research is
dedicated to addressing critical food safety concerns across the industry, with a
particular focus on catering and food trucks.
