Rene Rickabaugh graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts in special education and elementary education from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Rene graduated from the University of Wyoming with her Masters in Special Education with additional administration hours. She worked in the Natrona County School District for 39 years as a special education teacher, Educational Resource Specialist, and Principal. She retired as the Principal for Bar Nunn Elementary School and currently works part time as the University of Wyoming Partnership Facilitator for placing and assisting with student teachers. In addition, she volunteers her time on church committees, Wyoming Department of Education SEES Committee, and serves on the Wyoming State Board for P.E.O. Sisterhood.
