Oksana Wasilik, PhD is an Instructional Designer at the Ellbogen Center for Teaching and Learning and is located on UW-Casper campus. She completed her PhD in Instructional Technology, from the University of Wyoming, as well as Masters in Adult and Post-Secondary Education and Applied Statistics, both from the University of Wyoming. She taught online and web-conferencing classes in instructional design, online and online education, educational policy, statistics, and qualitative research. Her scholarly interests include teaching presence and teaching strategies in synchronous and asynchronous online courses . Her areas of expertise include online education and educational technology applications.
The University of Wyoming has earned its Research Level 1 (R1) status from the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, placing Wyoming's only four-year university with the top research universities in the United States.
