Scott Seville

Dr. Scott Seville joined the faculty at UW-Casper in 1993. He is Professor and Chair of the UW Department of Zoology and Physiology (https://www.uwyo.edu/zoology/), Director of the NIH-funded Wyoming IDeA Networks for Biomedical Research Excellence Program (www.uwyo.edu/wyominginbre), and Associate Director of the NIH-funded IDeA Mountain West CTR-IN Pilot Grant Program (https://ctrin.unlv.edu/). He received a B.S. in Zoology from San Diego State University in 1981, and a M.S. in Parasitology (1987), B.S. in Secondary Science Education (1989) and PhD in Zoology and Physiology (1992) from the University of Wyoming. In 1992-93 he was an NSF-NATO Postdoctoral Research Fellow working at the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources in Maple, ONT Canada. His research interests include taxonomy and systematics of coccidian parasites of wildlife, disease ecology, and parasite-host coevolution.
