Brittany has lived in Laramie the majority of her life and has grown to love Wyoming. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2015 with her bachelor’s degree in psychology and social sciences, and then graduated with her master’s degree in social work from Colorado State University in 2019. During her graduate program, Brittany completed her internship at Peak Wellness Center where she conducted clinical assessments and co-facilitated a substance abuse treatment group. She also completed her second internship at the Laramie Middle School working with students and their families to address their needs.
Before joining the WIND team, Brittany worked as a Learning and Development Specialist at an insurance company, where she delivered both virtual and in-person training sessions and developed eLearning materials. In her current role as a Community Outreach Coordinator, Brittany collaborates with the health emphasis team to create accessible learning resources, facilitate webinars, and engage in community outreach to support healthcare professionals. Additionally, she is an active member of WIND’s accessibility committee, where she contributes to the sharing of best practices with colleagues, students, and community members.
Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, as well as reading, writing, and running in her spare time.
