Toni Orr

Toni is pleased to call Worland and Ten Sleep home. Born and raised in the Big Horn Basin, she can’t imagine living anywhere else. She learned skills, values, and work ethic that continue to shape her and that she has passed on to her three daughters. She believes she had the best education through participation in her local 4-H program, the Rural Electric Association, theatre, choir, rodeo, and as an athletic trainer. Keeping it close to home, she attended Casper College and the University of Wyoming for English and Secondary Education, before receiving her master’s degree in Special Education from Bemidji State in Minnesota.

It was natural for Toni to gravitate to WIND, as she had a 20 year career in Special Education, moving through the ranks from substitute to paraeducator to teacher to transition coordinator. She has taught at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, working in resource rooms, co-taught settings, and individually with students on their post-secondary education, career, and community living skills.

As a Community Outreach Coordinator, Toni is pleased to continue providing support and services for individuals with disabilities in a different context.

In her free time, Toni enjoys spending time with her family, as well as empowering women through her Mary Kay business, and working with her daughter as Alison’s Pantry representatives.
