Ruth Freidel, M.A., CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pathologist, Clinical Assistant Professor

Ruth is a Speech-Language Pathologist and works in the Wyoming Assistive Technology Resource Center to provide AAC assessment, consultation, and training to families and professionals across the state. Ruth graduated from Northern Illinois University with her Master’s in Speech Language Pathology and worked across settings in special education, rehabilitation, home health, and private outpatient clinics. She worked as an SLP for 11 years prior to joining WIND and has a passion to see individuals communicate in a way that is meaningful to them. She has partnered with individuals and families for Augmentative-Alternative Communication Device assessments and treatment plans as well as providing speech-language therapy for individuals across the life span. She enjoys presenting on AAC, the brain, and making therapy meaningful. In her free time, she listens to podcasts, hangs out with her friends, and plays pickleball.
