Older Adults and Caregivers

The Wyoming Center on Aging is dedicated to providing trustworthy and credible information about aging-related topics. Whether you are looking for information about managing diabetes, safe driving, healthy aging or education and services to support aging in place, WyCOA is here for you! We offer:

  • Online resources including videos/modules and documents related to Age-related Disease, Caregiving, Community Living, Disease Prevention, Elder Abuse, Emergency Preparedness, Helpers and First Responders, Healthy Aging, Legal/Financial, Long Term Care, Medication, Safe Driving, Sensory Changes, Alzheimers and Dementia, and more!

  • Dementia Support Services

    The Wyoming Center on Aging offers resources for caregivers and people with dementia with the goal of enhancing the dementia-capability of our community through education, and provision of home and community-based services. We offer evidence-based interventions to meet the specific needs of people with dementia, and their family members. Additionally, training programs are available for community members, first responders, health care and service providers interested in increasing their ability to provide dementia-capable care. 

  • Healthy Living Programs, Information and resources/services to support aging in place

    • Healthier Wyoming: The goal of the Healthier Wyoming website is to empower all Wyoming residents to take charge of their health by providing a comprehensive directory of chronic disease prevention and management resources throughout the state. 

      • Healthy U: is Wyoming's chronic disease self-management program, available to any person interested in learning personal health care empowerment techniques.

    • Wyoming Aging and Disability Resource Center: connecting Wyoming's older adults and people with disabilities to a variety of helpful information and services that address their specific needs.
