The Ruckelshaus Institute is a partnership among UW faculty
and students;
a prominent advisory board composed of leaders from business,
industry, environmental organizations, education and government;
and the
resources
and outreach activities of the University.
The Institute's
mission is to advance effective decision-making on environmental and natural
resource issues through research, policy analysis, education,
process support,
and proactive outreach.
The Ruckelshaus Institute organized a
workshop on
pallid sturgeon
research and managementheld on July 31-August 2, 2007 in St.
Louis. A report from the workshop will be available in 2008.
