There is one award offered to a neuroscience graduate student who has made a significant accomplishment. The award is offered for achievements such as research accomplishments and productivity during degree training; a high quality publication; outstanding performance as an instructor in neuroscience courses; and, outstanding volunteering efforts relating to the communication and promotion of neuroscience.

There is also an award for the outstanding graduating undergraduate who is taking the neuroscience minor. This award is offered to a student that has chosen to pursue graduate training in neuroscience and or has performed outstanding neuroscience research at the undergraduate level. Nominees can be from any major program.
