When on the hunt for a college, I wanted a few different things:
(1) Nursing
(2) Study Abroad
(3) Sorority Life
(4) Small town, but College atmosphere
When I was looking at schools during my junior year of high school, I realized that UW offered all of the above. I wanted to be close to home but also out of state. I stepped on campus and immediately felt at home. The people were beyond nice, I loved the size of the school, and in that moment realized I had found home for the next 4 years.
In high school I was in Student Government and was Student Body President my senior year, so when I came to the university I wanted to find involvement in a leadership group if possible. I had learned about the Aspire program and immediately knew that I wanted to apply and join in on the leadership/community service aspect of the Nursing program.

When I graduate from college, I plan to be a travel nurse (hopefully beyond the United States) for as long as possible. I want to help individuals all over if possible and continue to learn the ways of Doctors and Nurses all across the world.
