Revolutionizing Nursing Education in Wyoming

ReNEW stands for ‘Revolutionizing Nursing Education in Wyoming’. As of 2018 all Wyoming community college nursing programs are teaching ReNEW curriculum. Students in a Wyoming Associate Degree in Nursing program are eligible to enroll in courses at the University of Wyoming to obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing concurrently. Students concurrently enrolled can finish with their BSN as soon as one semester post ADN graduation. Concurrent enrollment is an option, but not a requirement. ADN graduates can begin ReNEW coursework at UW at any time. All nursing coursework is offered online to accommodate ADN students attending across Wyoming.

ReNEW provides a vehicle for statewide collaboration and enhancement of nursing education and service to students.

Refer to the Admissions Office website at the following link: https://www.uwyo.edu/admissions/
Apply to the Admissions Office as a pre-nursing ReNEW applicant (an application fee is not required for ReNEW applicants).
You must be currently enrolled in a Wyoming Community College ADN program to apply as a Pre-ReNEW student.
Request official transcripts from every college/university that you have attended to be sent to the Admissions Office.
If degree requirements are to be met with test scores, such as Advanced Placement (AP) or College Level Examination Program (CLEP), request official test scores to be sent to the Admissions Office.
Contact the BSN Completion office at ReNEW@uwyo.edu after you receive your UW admission letter.
