Energy Resources Council to Meet Nov. 17 with UW Board of Trustees

The University of Wyoming Energy Resources Council (ERC) will meet at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at Laramie’s Hilton Garden Inn.

The council will begin with a joint session with the UW Board of Trustees to provide an annual overview of UW School of Energy Resources (SER) activities and accomplishments. The ERC also will hold its regularly scheduled quarterly meeting immediately following the joint session. During the regular meeting, SER Executive Director Holly Krutka will provide an SER status update, followed by SER division reports and a finance update.

Interested members of the public wishing to listen in on during either the joint or regular session may attend in person or request access to the Zoom link by emailing Christine Reed at christine.reed@uwyo.edu.

The ERC was established by the Wyoming State Legislature in 2006. Made up of representatives of industry, state government and academia, the council provides direction to SER priorities for research and outreach.

SER provides undergraduate education and graduate research opportunities; conducts research on existing and emerging energy resources; and disseminates scientific, engineering and economic information to support Wyoming’s near- and long-term energy future.

Information about SER is available at www.uwyo.edu/SER.
